Our monthly Spirit Circle is a quiet, sacred gathering dedicated to mediumistic development, spiritual healing, prayer, ancestral remembrance and communion with the Spirit World.
Our circles are inspired by the Mesa Blanca (“White Table”) tradition of Espiritismo, together with the teachings of Spiritism and the wider Spiritualist tradition. While honouring these traditional roots, our gatherings take a universalist approach: people of all spiritual paths, traditions and backgrounds are welcome, and our prayers and practices are offered in inclusive language.
At the heart of each gathering stands the White Table — simply dressed with a white cloth, fresh water, flowers and candlelight. We gather around it not for spectacle or fortune-telling, but as a spiritual community: to become still, to listen, to learn, to heal and to serve.
Each Spirit Circle begins with prayer and the blessing of the waters, followed by a period of meditation and harmonisation. From there, the evening may include mediumistic development exercises, spiritual healing, messages from Spirit, teachings and reflection, prayer for those in need, and remembrance of our ancestors and loved ones who have passed.
No previous experience of mediumship is necessary. You do not need to consider yourself psychic or a medium to attend. Some people come to develop their sensitivity; some come seeking healing or connection; others simply feel called to sit quietly in sacred community.
We ask only that you approach the White Table with respect, openness, discernment and humility.
Our guiding principle is simple:
We do not gather merely to speak with spirits. We gather to become more deeply human in the presence of Spirit.
There is no fixed charge for the Spirit Circle. We do, however, welcome donations to help support our temple and contribute towards rent, candles, refreshments and the practical costs of maintaining the space.
The recommended donation is R100–R200, although you are welcome to offer more, less, or nothing at all. No one should feel unable to attend because of finances.

To help us create a peaceful and harmonious atmosphere together:
Please wear something white if possible. If you do not have white clothing, something light in colour is perfectly suitable.
Please avoid eating a large meal immediately beforehand. There is no need to fast; simply arrive feeling comfortable and alert.
Spend a little time in prayer, meditation or quiet reflection during the day. You might simply take a few moments to become still and consider what you are bringing to the White Table—perhaps a prayer, a question, gratitude, grief, healing or simply an open heart.
Dress warmly. The evenings can become chilly, and you are welcome to bring a small lap blanket if needed.
You are welcome to bring a journal and pen. Many people find it helpful to record impressions and reflections after the circle. To preserve confidentiality and the sacred nature of the gathering, phones, photography and audio or video recordings are not permitted during the Spirit Circle.
Above all, come gently.
There is nothing you need to prove, perform or make happen.
Come to listen.
Come to pray.
Come to heal.
Come to learn.
And come sit with us for a while around the White Table.
